In Conversation: Hamish Blythe, Trilo at Fintech Week London

Fintech Week London took place in July as the first live in-person fintech event since the pandemic. Over the course of five days, the industry’s key players came together to discuss all things fintech, from open banking to digital ID and cryptocurrency to collaboration.  During the event, The Fintech Times spoke to Hamish Blythe, founder and CEO of Trilo, about their creation and the payments industry.

“Back then I was saying to people that we’re going to be using QR codes for payments, and people didn’t believe me. Now with Covid, there has been a massive education that everyone knows about QR codes, and the industry has moved heavily on the contactless side as well.”
